When I was 14, I started working in a dental practice. I was originally asked to help at the front desk so the receptionist could take a break in the afternoons. Before long, I was filing insurance claims, maintaining patient charts and ledgers, and handling the office bookkeeping. Every day brought a new challenge. And I loved it.

That experience taught me two things early on: how much behind-the-scenes organization it takes to run a dental office, and how few people actually enjoy managing the numbers that make it all work.

Decades later, that same curiosity and appreciation for operational detail evolved into a career in accounting, and eventually into Digit Squid, the firm I founded to help business owners bring clarity and confidence to their finances.

DDS CFO is a branch of Digit Squid, created specifically for dentists who want financial systems as precise and reliable as their clinical work. I combine a deep understanding of dental operations with decades of bookkeeping and advisory experience to help practices make informed, confident business decisions.
